Position: Fundraising Manager
Location: New York City
Commitment: Full-Time, Volunteer

About the Role:

As the Fundraising Manager, you will be instrumental in developing and executing the fundraising strategies that will enable our campaign to reach voters across the city. Your ability to build relationships and secure financial support will be essential to our success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategy Development: Craft and implement a comprehensive fundraising plan that aligns with the campaign’s goals.

• Donor Engagement: Cultivate relationships with donors, sponsors, and community stakeholders to secure financial contributions.

• Event Management: Plan and execute successful fundraising events, including galas, receptions, and digital fundraising initiatives.

• Budget Oversight: Collaborate with the Treasurer to monitor fundraising efforts, track donations, and ensure all financial activities comply with legal regulations.

• Communications: Develop compelling fundraising communications, including email campaigns, newsletters, and donor outreach materials.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in fundraising, preferably within political campaigns or nonprofit organizations.

• Strong communication and networking skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines.

• Familiarity with fundraising platforms and donor management systems.

• Commitment to Joe Alny’s vision for NYC and a desire to contribute to meaningful change.
